Mike is the owner of Ocean Ascents. He has worked professionally on mega-yachts, blue water cruising vessels, and even small-boat teaching. His passion is simply getting out on the water turning off the engine and letting the wind take over. Mike is as easy-going as it gets. While safety and skill-learning are paramount, being able to communicate and work with his crew is essential; Mike excels at bringing people together to work as a team.

Ocean Ascents is a small and slow-growing business. In an effort to continue earning sailing miles, Mike seeks out opportunities to get on the water and deliver boats, act as an extra crew-hand, or join in on someone else's adventure.
